Dana Point

This past Saturday we met our good friends Erin and Jed Huss with their kids Natalie and Noah at Salty Creek Beach in Dana Point. We all go way back in good old Santa Maria. It was so fun to catch up, meet baby Noah, and enjoy the amazing beach and weather.

Natalie Loves to be buried in the sand she stayed there for a good 30 mins!Skye and Natalie playing...good thing Skye isn't that heavy!

Beach Day

This past week my mom has been visiting, we always love it when she comes because she is always such a huge help. All the kids love their Grammy so much! She never fails to shower them with lots of hugs and kisses. Thanks mom for everything!

We also had a chance to have another beach day on Saturday. My dad was suppose to be there too but unfortunately he was stranded (thanks to Delta) in Nigeria for 3 days!!! But I am happy to report that he made it home safe and sound. Thanks Dad for always working so hard.

Here are a few pictures from our fun beach day!

I love the Beach.....
especially the sand.
Check out those cute pearly whites.

I asked Kaden if I could take a picture of him and this is what he did...just for a second but I caught it.

Small but Mighty!

I think I might have my hands full.......Skye is starting to pull herself up on whatever she can. We decided it was time to lower her crib when I came in one day and she was on her knees holding onto the top of the crib!!!! She has become very proficient at crawling and can sit up all by herself. On Monday she will be 7 months. For being so small she sure is mighty!

Here's a short video of Skye crawling......

Baby Food

Since it's now time for Skye to start eating different foods I decided to make my own baby food. It was so easy......

Step 1: I cut up Butternut Squash, and Apples into squares, and cut off the ends of green beans.
Step 2: Steamed them all individually

Step 3: Blended them up individually in the cuisinart

Step 4: Poured them in ice cube trays to freeze.

Now I have Baby Food for the next month or so. ENJOY SKYE!
