TRIP TO UTAH

This past week we went to Utah to visit Eric's family, go to a wedding, and baby blessing. One of Eric's mission companions John married his beautiful bride Marjorie. We had a great trip and had our first experience traveling with Skye. It's definitely different traveling with an infant......so much stuff!! Skye did really well despite her nap schedule being thrown off. She had her first plane ride and was able to meet her Grandma Linda and all her aunts, uncles and cousins. She also met her 2 month old cousin Taygen who received his baby blessing while we were there. Cheeez!

Skye is now 4 1/2 months. She continues to be so much fun! She is officially sleeping in her crib in her room. We thought it was time since she has been sleeping through the night for over a month. (Mom just had some separation anxiety!) She now manages to get her feet up to her mouth and sucks on her toes. I also have to keep an eye on her because she is starting to scoot when she is on the floor. I have a feeling she might be an early crawler. I think as she's getting older she more and more fun. I love watching her grow and progress but at the same time it is bitter sweet to see how fast time goes by.
Oh and I have a question for anyone who has any ideas, I have started back to work one day a week and at first Skye did great taking a bottle but two weeks ago she decided that she wants nothing to do with it. So Eric has had to bring her to my work for her last feeding of the night. I would love any ideas on how I can get her to take a bottle again! Thanks!

Congratulations Eric!

This past Saturday Eric had his Graduation Ceremony. He is now officially graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration! Eric was actually finished with school in December 2007 but the ceremony to walk wasn't until May 17th 2008 at the Del Mar fair grounds. It was really nice and Skye and I were lucky to get a good seat under the covering so we didn't have to burn in the sun. We are so proud of how hard Eric has worked these past years to finish school! We Love you so much! Congratulations!

I'm 4 Months!!

Yesterday Skye turned 4 months old! Today we went for her 4 month check up and shots. I am happy to report we have a very happy and healthy baby. Although she is in the 5th percentile for her weight (10lbs 7 oz) and height (23.5inches) and 20th percentile for her head size she is in per portion to her body she is just a petite little girl. She also got 3 shots and did very well.
I can't believe how fast she is growing! She makes more and more sounds each day, smiles and giggles all the time and is rolling from her back to her tummy. We are so blessed with our little angel.

BEACH DAY!

Saturday was such a nice day, the weather was in the 80's so we took advantage and had a great beach day. We met Tiffany with her kids, Felicity, Rob and Gracey and our Friends Justin and Andrea with their family. Quite the gang and we had lots of fun. This was Skye's second beach day. Although she slept half the time she loved it!

5 Year Anniversary

This past Friday, April 11th 2008 Eric and I celebrated our 5 year Anniversary! Wow can you believe we have been married for 5 years!!! On Friday morning before Eric headed off to work I surprised him with a treasure hunt to find his new set of golf clubs. He then surprised me by coming home early from work so we could spend the day together. He brought me a dozen beautiful roses. (He knows I'm a succor for flowers) Then later that evening Eric surprised Skye and I with a Sunset Dinner Cruise out of the harbor at Oceanside. The captain took us off the coast of Oceanside where we were able to see the sunset, ride the waves, eat dinner and enjoy the scenary.It was so much fun and the weather was beautiful. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting an amazing date!

I'm Rolling

This past Saturday night, Eric and I put Skye on her tummy for tummy time. Then all of a sudden Eric said look and Skye had rolled up on her side. Then before we knew it she rolled over onto her back. We were so shocked! So of course what do we do, we make her roll like 5 more times. It was so cute. So today I caught her rolling again on my camera so I thought I would share it. Skye will be 3 months on Friday! Enjoy!
