Rice Cereal

So we decided to finally give Skye rice cereal. She seemed to love it. We got some funny faces from it but for the most part she did really well swallowing. I can't believe how fast she is growing!

Eric's Birthday...Skye's Half Birthday.... and 4th of July

The 4th of July was a very eventful day for us. Eric turned 27, Skye turned 6 months and we celebrated independence day! We started the day off with a nice walk on the beach. Later that afternoon my mom, Tiffany, Kaden, and Maddi came. We went and swam in our pool and then came back for a BBQ. After a delicious meal we loaded everyone up and headed to Oceanside for the fireworks. We were very disappointed after walking 5 blocks to the beach to find high tide and now where to sit. So we parked ourselves on the curb. To top the night off the fog was so thick that when the fireworks started we couldn't even see the glow of a firework. So we packed up, headed home, put the kids to bed and ate a well deserved 4 layer chocolate birthday cake! Yumm!! Despite no fireworks it was a very fun day!

Play Day

On Friday, Felicity, Gracey, Skye and I ventured to Murrieta to visit Tiffany, Kaden, and Maddi. Although it was 111 degrees.....we had a lot of fun. We are blessed to live so close to each other so we can get together often and our kids can grow up playing together.

51/2 Months

I'm 51/2 months now and I love sucking on my toes. I'm rolling and scooting all over the place. I love to scream and giggle at my daddy. I'm still sleeping through the night. I hate sucking on my bottle and Binky, I'd rather chew on them. And my mommy has fun experimenting with all my hair.

"A Travelin"

For the last 2 weeks I have been "a travelin." First was a trip to Utah with Eric then Felicity, Gracey, Skye and I headed up to Santa Maria to visit my parents. Then on Monday we left for Fresno for the funeral services for my Grandpa. I had such a good time visiting family and friends but there's something about finally being home that feels so good.

Eric's brother in law Brian was baptized this past weekend. Congrats Brian!

Grandpa

Last Saturday morning at 2:00am my parents got the unfortunate news that my Grandpa passed away. He had been battling with heart problems for sometime. We will miss him but I am greatful for the knowledge that he is in a better place and I know I will be able to see him again. My Grandpa Clinton was a very hard worker and he loved my Grandma so much. I have so many good memories of going out in his garden to pick all the amazing fruit he grew and always running from his honey bees. Thanks grandpa for your love and example of hard work and service. You will be missed. We Love You!Grandma and Grandpa Skye met her Great Grandma for the first time.
