2 weeks old

Sydney will be 2 weeks old tomorrow. It's crazy how fast time fly's by. We love our new little addition to our family. So far Sydney is a champion sleeper and so snuggley. She eats really well and poops all the time. I forgot how many diapers you go through with newborns. I quit counting the number of times I would just finish changing her diaper when another explosion erupts!
We love our girls so much! Skye loves her little sister too. She loves to give her kisses and loves holding her. Whenever Sydney fusses she's always the first to tell me that Sydney needs milk.
Eric was able to spend the first week home with us and then the girls and I spent this last week at my parents house which was relaxing and a good change of scenery. This next week it's just me and the girls so hopefully it goes ok. Enjoy all the new pics of our angels.

7lbs 10oz and 20in

I was completely surprised at 10:00pm Sunday night, on my due date when I felt a pop and realized that my water had broken. We took Skye over to Felicity and Rob's and headed for the hospital. My mom made it just in time after driving through the night from Santa Maria. Mom your awesome! She was born at 5:40am the next morning and I only pushed for 15min. She literally popped out! What a blessing it is to welcome another little angel from heaven into our family. She is so calm and hardly cries. She latched right on and is nursing so well. So far she is a champion sleeper. The pediatrician did feel a popping in her left hip so for the next 2 weeks until we follow up with the orthopedic doc she has to wear a brace. When we brought her home Skye was so excited to see her. She wanted to hold her right away and even helped me change her diaper. Enjoy our new bundle of joy!

Baby Shower

My mom and Felicity threw me an awesome baby shower on Sat. It was decorated so cute and the food was really yummy. Thank you to all who came for your support, company and adorable gifts. I definitely felt very special!
I'm 38 weeks now....only 2 more to go! I feel very blessed that I have had such a good pregnancy, beside being uncomfortable and feeling huge it has gone really well. I'm still working one night shift a week and go to jazzercise at least 2-3 days a week. So keep checking in, baby #2 in on her way!

Snow Day

Last weekend we decided before the winter is over and before Sydney is here, that we better take Skye to see the snow at least once before it melts. So we had a fun trip up to Idyllwild with Tiff and her kids. The kids did some sleeding, built a snowman and of course ate some snow! The weather was so nice!

In this next picture, Maddy decided to put snow down the back of Skye's snowsuit so she we ended up taking her suit off. The weather was about 65-70 degrees outside so she was pretty comfortable. Cute pic's huh!

Beach Day in Febuary!!!!!

This is why I love So Cal, you can go to the beach in the middle of winter. Skye and I had a great walk on the beach yesterday and then had some fun in the sand. I'm trying to stay as active as I can so that in 3 weeks when our little Sydney is due... she will come!

Skye's Birthday Month

My camera has been out of commission for a few weeks but now is up and running so I thought I would just do one last post of the happening in Skye's Birthday month.

Skye did surprisingly well for her first hair cut. Although it was more of just trimming the straggly ends, she sat still the whole time. I can't believe my little princess is two! Where does the time go.

So today I officially have a little toddler! Skye is "2" I can't believe it, where has the time gone. We are so blessed to have such a little angel. She is so full of energy and life. Her favorite things to do are Dance, run, read books, play with any kids, and snuggle with mommy and daddy.
